Our Approach
LFG is wholly committed to creating value for our customers, employees and stakeholders through the employment of a fleet of modern vessels, continuous development of our people, and especially upholding the highest standard of Health and Safety for all our stakeholders.
LFG remains determined to safeguard the health and safety status of its employees, especially our marine crew, as their job scope poses a high risk to health and safety in the oil and gas industry.
One of the biggest tools we utilise to internally drive this high standard of health and safety at LFG is our HSSE Policy, which is cascaded to all employees and crew members to garner their awareness, understanding and obligation towards adhering to the HSSE Policy’s commitments and guidelines.
Company Objectives
- Provide for safe practices ship operation and a safe working environment.
- Establish safeguards against all identified risks.
- Continuously improve the safety management skills of personnel ashore and onboard ship, including preparing for emergencies related both to safety end environmental protection.
- Compliance with mandatory rules and regulations.
- That applicable codes, guidelines and standards recommendation by the Organization, Administrations, classification societies and maritime industry organizations are taken into account.
These objectives will be achieved by :
- Maintaining high standards of safely consciousness, personal discipline and Individual accountability by adherence to a comprehensive and documented system of training.
- Actively promoting employee participation in measures aimed at improving safely and protecting the environment.
- Keeping all personnel fully informed of any known or potential hazards that may affect themselves, their colleagues, the ship or the environment by transmittal of pertinent documentation.
- Continuously reviewing all mandatory rules, regulations, industry codes and operating procedures that are relevant lo specific ship types and trade.
